Biography

Mr. Benedikt Dalkmann serves as Chief Financial Officer, Bertelsmann Education Group at Bertelsmann. He also served as a Venture Partner at Emerge (VC). He serves as a Board Member at Afya Educacional. He serves as a Board Member at Alliant International University. He served as Chief Financial Officer at Bertelsmann. He served as a Senior Director of Corporate Development at Bertelsmann. Previously, he served as an Investment Analyst at Holtzbrinck Digital GmbH, Holtzbrinck Ventures. For him, reorganizing human capital as an asset rather than a liability presents an opportunity for corporations to effectively manage the skills gap. As technology changes, workers need to be retrained and upskilled for growth sectors, to prevent critical talent shortages. He has played a formative role in developing the Education Group since its foundation in 2015, most recently as Head of Corporate Development. Before joining the Education Group, he worked as Director of Strategy & Investments at Bertelsmann. He has an Executive Education Degree from INSEAD and an MA from the Universität Siegen.
