Biography

Mr. Cyrille Cabaret serves as Partner at Demeter Partners. An agricultural engineer from the Institut Polytechnique Lasalle-Beauvais with a Master's degree in International Agrifood Management from ESSEC Business School, Mr. Cabaret has a rich and varied experience of more than 20 years in the agribusiness sector. He started in 1998 as a Mergers & Acquisitions Manager at the investment bank Natexis Finance, where he accompanied several transactions in the agricultural sector. In 2002, during the LBO led by CVC Capital Partner, he joined the Adisseo group where he successively held positions in corporate finance, strategy & business development, then as a business manager. In 2009, after two international financial control assignments in industrial groups, Mr. Cabaret created the biotech start-up Ecomeris (specialized in biomaterials) which he developed and sold at the end of 2016 to the cosmetics group SILAB. Mr. Cabaret then put his experience as an entrepreneur and his skills in innovation, strategy, and corporate finance at the service of several start-ups in the agro sector, notably Olygose (a Demeter portfolio company), of which he was COO and a member of the Board. He serves as Board Member at Kapsera and Lactips & Insolight. He served as Board Member at Microphyt.
