Biography

Dr. Carlos Johnson served as Managing Director & Advisory Partner at Triton Value Partners. He has more than 40 years of experience specializing in financial institutions, higher education, government, not-for-profit and retail industries. Dr. Johnson is a retired partner of KPMG where he was the Southwest Partner in Charge of Higher Education Practice and also specialized in Banking, Government and Not for Profit industries. Dr. Johnson is a former Senior Investment Banker at BOSC, Inc. He served as Chairman of the Oklahoma Accountancy Board (3 years) and the Governmental Technology Applications Review Board (11 years). Dr. Johnson is a member of the Oklahoma Society of CPA's Hall of Fame and Center for Not for Profits Board. Dr. Johnson served as a faculty member at Oklahoma State University, the University of Oklahoma and East Central University where he served as Chairman of the Department of Business Administration. Dr. Johnson is a Director of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, an advisory member of the Board of Directors of Spirit Bank, Tulsa OK; Oklahoma Zoological Society; and the Oklahoma State University School of Accounting Advisory Board and currently serves of counsel to Eide Bailly LLP, CPAs. In addition, he received the award of special recognition for public advocacy bestowed by American Institute of CPAs. Dr. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from East Central State University and Masters and Doctorate degrees from Oklahoma State University. He is a member of the Oklahoma State Society of CPA's and the American Institute of CPA's.
