Biography

Mr. Lawrence Harrington serves as Investment Counselor at Marble Harbor Investment Counsel. Before joining Marble Harbor he spent five years as a Vice President at Brown Brothers Harriman in the firm's Private Client Group. There he had discretionary responsibility for 45 relationships with a focus on individual equity selection and general portfolio management. He is knowledgeable of additional asset classes including international equity, private equity, hedge funds, high-yield fixed income, and inflation-protected securities. L.J. began his investment management career in 1990 at David L. Babson & Company. There he rose to Managing Director in the firm's Private Client Group. At Babson, he developed a client referral network through a national financial planning firm while managing a large group of client relationships. A graduate of Whittier College with an A.B. in Business Administration, L.J. received his M.B.A. from Northeastern University.
