Biography

Mr. David Andresen served as Director, Xnergy Financial at Xnergy. He is responsible for managing the Clean Tech department at the firm. Throughout his career, David negotiated and structured dozens of private equity financings, from both within hedge fund buy-side as well as from the investment banking sell-side. The transactions ranged from early-stage to NASDAQ-listed companies, with a focus on cleantech and international transactions. In addition to his role as Managing Director of Xnergy's Clean Tech group, he serves on the board of PI Energy. In 2011, David was the chairman of the Cleantech Open for San Diego. David is a director for Sea Spray Research, a non-profit atmospheric research effort focused on evaluating the science and engineering of seawater aerosol-based geoengineering. Previously, David served as a leader and managing director of the cleantech practice at Oracle Capital Securities, where he managed and structured private equity transactions for cleantech companies. Previous to that David served as a Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance at Yorkville Advisors, which managed a PIPE hedge fund with assets of over $1 billion.
