Biography

Mr. Tamer Ali is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer, President & Director at Authentic Learning Labs. Mr. Ali Co-Founded Digital Ignite where he served as Chief Executive Officer and President. He has been working in education technologies for over 12 years; Tamer believes many of the world's problems can be solved through better education- and that technology can help deliver this promise more effectively (and faster). Most recently, Tamer served as an executive of a pioneering e-Learning company, VCampus, where he led all proprietary application development. He was instrumental in many successful new product launches, including award winning platforms for a Learning Management System, Course Management System, and Testing Engine. The platform gained wide adoption with high profile clients such as State Farm Insurance, Department of Veterans Affairs, Cable & Wireless, Verizon, and National Council of State Boards of Nursing. Tamer is a family man so if he's not at the office, he's spending time with his beloved wife and 2 children. With 2 very young children, he doesn't have time for many hobbies, but when he can, Tamer enjoys reading non-fiction and technology news. Tamer holds a BA from University of Virginia in Biology and an Masters in Education and Human Development from George Washington University.
