Biography

Mr. Christopher Adams serves as Investment Professional at Five V Capital. Mr. Adams served as a Managing Director at Adamantem Capital. Mr. Adams served as an Investment Director at Anchorage Capital Partners. He is responsible for leading new investments for Anchorage, as well as developing and overseeing turnaround programs for our portfolio companies. His primary portfolio responsibility is Dick Smith, where he was previously a member of the Turnaround Committee. Internally he leads our marketing and internal best practice initiatives. He has extensive experience in strategy and corporate finance both in Australia and internationally. Prior to joining Anchorage, he was a Principal at Bain & Company, where he spent six years in Sydney, London, Boston, and Johannesburg, working on projects in strategy, operations, and private equity for clients operating in a wide range of sectors. Prior to this, he spent six years working in corporate finance, both in Australia with Ernst & Young Corporate Finance and in the US with a boutique mid-market investment bank. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of New South Wales.
