Biography

Mr. Andrew Terry Co-Founder and served as a Board Member, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Micad Systems. He began his business career in household textiles in 1961 which became a Plc in 1965. Andrew became a main board director 1n 1971. He left to start his own company 1977 in the motor repair and refinishing business which became the first authorised independent VW repairer in the UK and also won the Porsche Repairer franchise in the Northwest of England. The business was sold to the main VW dealer in Manchester in 1987. After spending some time as a business consultant, Andrew then founded Micad Systems (UK) Ltd in 1988 which he successfully managed for 27 years. He was both the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. This IT solution business became the leading supplier of SAAS web-based estates and facility management systems to the NHS servicing nationally 135 NHS Trusts and the sole supplier to NHS Property Services, it also services Leading Universities, Local Authorities, Large Facility Management Companies, Banks, Airports and Utility Companies. Andrew retired from Micad Systems when Young Associates, a UK Private Equity House and the Micad management team purchased the company in April 2014. Andrew now focuses his time on mentoring new businesses start-ups.
