Biography

Mr. Jason Cheng is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner at Kerogen Capital. He is also the Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Celerate X. He also serves as Board Member at Pandion Energy and Buried Hill Energy (Cyprus). He has over 20 years of commercial experience across investing, operations and investment banking. He was the Managing Partner of Ancora Capital, the manager of the Prior Fund. Before this, he was a Managing Director of Jade International Capital Partners Limited in Beijing where he was involved in Sino-foreign investments and advisory assignments. He previously worked in investment banking at J.P. Morgan in the Energy and Natural Resources Group and prior to this at Schroders, in both the Energy and the Asian M&A teams. He served as Board Member at Hurricane Energy and Zennor Petroleum. He holds a BComm in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Melbourne, and a MComm in Finance and Management from the University of Sydney.
