Biography

Mr. Nathan Kline is a Co-Founder & serves as a Chief Investment Officer at OneWall Communities. He is the Founder and serves as Managing General Partner of Cistern Capital. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President at Accordion Partners. He has a diverse global experience in private equity, M&A, real estate, corporate finance, startups, strategy, operations, and marketing. Before joining Accordion, he founded Genuity Partners where he consulted on emerging markets investment banking transactions, provided financial and strategic advisory services to small-cap public and private companies, and partnered with the New York School of Finance to conduct financial training courses around the world. Before consulting and teaching financial modeling, he was an Associate in Private Equity at Fortress Investment Group. In three years there, he developed the business plan for a containership chartering startup (~$1 billion of assets), developed deep domain expertise in shipping/transportation/infrastructure, completed due diligence on over 100 investment opportunities in a variety of sectors and was in charge of valuation, financial modeling, and analysis on 4 completed acquisitions worth a combined $8.1 billion. He also led calls and meetings with C-Level executives and management staff of his portfolio companies and worked on merging three portfolio companies into the prospective IPO of Seacastle. He began his career in New York as an Analyst with Merrill Lynch's Mergers & Acquisitions Investment Banking Group where he had first been a Summer Analyst. During his time there he received the top performance ranking in Global Investment Banking and executed on 5 exclusive/lead-advised deals worth $13.5 billion (3 cross-border and 2 domestic) and a fairness opinion. He graduated with Honors from the Schreyer Honors College at Pennsylvania State University where he obtained two degrees in 4 years; a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Economics.
