Biography

Mr. Dan Burke is a Founding Partner & Attorney of VLP Law Group. He has been a Member of the firm's Executive Committee since 2010. His practice focuses on the representation of emerging growth companies, entrepreneurs, and investors in the areas of corporate, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. He also has significant experience in the areas of technology and commercial transactions, intellectual property, and employment and equity compensation matters. Mr. Burke represents companies in all phases of their life cycle, from formation to exit. This includes representation of private companies in hundreds of financing transactions, including early-stage convertible debt and bridge financings, preferred stock financings, and IPOs. Mr. Burke has also represented public and private companies in numerous mergers and acquisitions transactions, including mergers, stock sales, and asset sales with private and public buyers. In addition to company representation, Mr. Burke has represented angel and venture capital investors in financing matters, and many high-profile Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, including founders of Facebook and Instagram.
