Biography

Mr. Rob Chen serves as an Operating Partner at Novo Tellus Capital Partners. Mr. Chen served as Chief Executive Officer at BrightLink Technology, LLC. Mr. Chen served as Chief Marketing Officer at CEB. He is responsible for developing and leading CEB's marketing strategy and execution, including product and channel marketing, market research, brand, thought leadership, public relations, demand generation, and sales enablement. He also serves as an Executive Chairman and Board Director at Novoflex. He has a strong track record of executive leadership and general management experience, with deep expertise in leading global teams across business segments and industry sectors. Since joining CEB, he has refined the firm's market and brand position as a best practice insights and technology leader, enhanced its presence in digital, social, and mobile channels, and developed and executed a globally scalable demand generation strategy. He was previously Senior Vice President of Product and Channel Marketing for First Data Corporation, where he transformed and implemented go-to-market strategies for numerous product innovations. He also held a number of executive roles with Visa Inc., including Head of Global Client Strategy, Head of Commercial and Processing Marketing, and VP of Small Business Marketing. He has also held senior management roles in several leading technology companies in Silicon Valley, including Siebel Systems (now Oracle), Edge Dynamics and Salesforce.com. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
