Biography

Mr. Alvaro Aguirre served as Chairman and Member of the Compensation and Audit Committees at EmployBridge. He serves as Chairman and Chairman of Compensation Committee at Leeward Renewable Energy. He served as Chairman at Critical Content. Previously he served as Director for Central Pacific Bank. He has broad experience acquired through senior principal and advisory positions on Wall Street as well as senior executive operating roles in public and private companies. He served in principal investing, capital markets and advisory roles as a managing director at Warburg Pincus, an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and a securities attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell. He has also served in senior management roles at several media and technology businesses where he was instrumental in shaping strategy, driving growth and achieving successful financings and exits. Prior to that, he served in several director roles, including Director and member of the Compensation Committee and Governance Committee of Central Pacific Financial Corp. (NYSE: CPF), the holding company for Central Pacific Bank; Lead Director and member of the Compensation Committee of Advanstar Communications Inc., a leading B2B events, online and publishing platform serving the fashion, life sciences and motorsports industries; and Chairman of the Board and member of the Audit and Compensation Committees of Cygnus Business Media, a business-to-business publishing company. He has also served in various not for profit capacities, including, currently, as a Director of Father Joe's Village, the largest homeless services provider in San Diego and has also served as Chairman of the Town of Tiburon Planning Commission. He serves as Board Member at J.Crew Group.
