Biography
Dr. John Martin served as Venture Partner at Emerge (VC). He served as Chief Executive Officer at Koninklijke Brill. He serves as a Supervisory Board Member at Infinitas Learning. He is an independent advisor and investor in education and education technology companies. Previously he was CEO of Sanoma Learning and served in the Executive Management of Sanoma Group, first leading digital and strategy at the Group and later Sanoma Learning. His core interests are in digital transformation and leading change. Before joining Sanoma, he worked in strategy consulting (ContentConnected) and science publishing (Wolters Kluwer and Swets & Zeitlinger). He has a Ph.D. and BS in molecular biology from Sheffield University and was a post-doctoral researcher at Utrecht University.
