Biography

Ms. Melissa Heike serves as Safety & Health Consultant at RJR Safety. Ms. Heike served as President at 3P Safety. Melissa earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology and Secondary Education from Geneva College in 1991 and was hired into the field of safety directly out of college. She earned her Master's degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in 1996 by going to school at night, while working during the day in the safety profession. She has gained extensive professional Safety Management experience in the oil & gas, chemical, steel, manufacturing, and insurance services industries. Melissa has held positions that include Manager of EHS Training for a risk management company; Safety & Health Consultant in the oil and gas industry; Safety Engineer for an environmental hazardous waste transportation/disposal company; Safety Training Coordinator for a specialty chemical manufacturer; Safety Engineer for flat-rolled steel manufacturing facility, and Safety, Training and Development Facilitator for a manufacturer in the food industry. She serves as Safety & Health Associate at RJR Safety Inc.
