Biography

Mr. Antonio Madero Bracho is the Founder and serves as Executive President of the Board of Directors at Rassini. He graduated in 1958 as a Mining and Metallurgical Engineer from the Faculty of Engineering of the National Autonomous University of Mexico and received his Master in Business Administration degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, Harvard University in 1961. He has been a Member of the International Advisory Board of JP Morgan Chase, (New York, NY/1990-2005); and Director of Goldcorp Inc. (Vancouver B.C., Canadá), Deere & Company, (Moline, Illinois), Global Counselor of The Conference Board (New York, N.Y.). In Mexico, he is a Director of Cydsa, S.A. de C.V. and Grupo México, S.A. de C.V. He has been a Director of Alfa, S.A. de C.V.; Grupo Financiero Scotiabank Inverlat, S.A. de C.V.; Grupo Financiero Banamex, S. A. de C.V., Grupo Industrial Saltillo, S.A. de C.V., Nadro, S. A. de C. V., Grupo Posadas, S.A. de C.V.; ING México, S.A. de C.V., and G. Acción, S.A. de C.V. He is a Member of the Governing Board of the Universidad Panamericana and of the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Direccion de Empresa (IPADE) and Director of the National Museum of Art (MUNAL). Founder and Honorary President of the "Fundación México en Harvard, AC"; Appointed in 1996 "John Harvard Fellow" by Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. USA; Member of the Executive Committee of the "Committee on University Resources" of Harvard University; Founder and Member of the Advisory Council of the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University; Member of The Trilateral Commission and Member of the Global Advisory Council of The Conference Board, New York. He was named "Distinguished Executive of the Year 1983" by Sales and Marketing Executives of Mexico, AC; Medal for "Business Merit 1987" awarded by the National Chamber of Commerce of Mexico City. Named "Entrepreneur of the Year 1990" at the national level by the Acapulco National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism, and elected to the "Entrepreneur Hall" in Mexico in 2010.
