Biography

Mr. Mark Baker served as Managing Director and Head, Advisory Practice at Clearbrook Global Advisors. He is a lead consultant on many of the firm's corporate, endowment and foundation clients as well as professional services partnership firms. He is a member of the firm's Investment Committee and also participates in the firm's alternative manager research. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and seminars. Prior to joining the firm, Mark served as a Managing Director in the Boston office of CRA RogersCasey (formerly Wellesley Group) since 1995. Mark ran the office's eleemosynary consulting practice and led the development of the alternative research capability for Wellesley Group prior to the CRA RogersCasey acquisition. Before CRA RogersCasey, Mark was appointed the Chief Investment Analyst for the Pension Investment Division of the Massachusetts State Treasury, which was responsible for the then $7.4 billion Massachusetts State Teachers' and Employees' Retirement System (MASTERS) Trust. Mark also spent the early part of his career in commercial banking and investment management. Mark is a member of the Board of Directors of Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, Massachusetts and is Chairman of the Academy's Finance Committee.
