Biography

Dr. Navyug Mohnot is a Co-Founder & serves as a Partner at Altius Ventures. He serves as Chief Executive Officer at QAI. He is a Co-Founder and General Partner at Altius Venture Partners. He is an Angel Investor. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. After his B.Tech from IIT, he went to the US on a fellowship, to do a PhD from the University of Rochester. He has over 25 years of experience in various leadership, advocacy, mentorship, fundraising, acquisitions, community, public service, and advisory roles. He, after three rounds of fundraising (for QAI), an acquisition in the UK, the merger and acquisition of QAI's parent company (QAI USA) into QAI India, setting up its operations in China, Singapore, founding India's first strategic design and Innovation company (QGLUE), is now co-founder and General Partner at Altius Venture Partners. All through, he has been passionate about start-ups: perennially "being" one, as well as helping and funding some. He hopes to bring to bear, through Altius, the many successes and equally many failures and learnings to help start-ups and to inspire them to take a more considered and structured approach to venture development. He believes in designing your life (of which he is a Stanford Certified Coach). He is a TEDx speaker ('Embracing Contradictions; Manifesting Desires'). He ran NASSCOM's Orbit Shift Program, co-chaired TiECon, and is on the Team of TiE Ventre Studio. He is the promoter of India's first Design-led Entrepreneurship Awards and Summit, IDEAS, spotlighting the confluence of innovation, design, and entrepreneurship. An ardent art, architecture, and design enthusiast He is passionate about photography and film and hopes to have a career there (someday). He also runs Film@5OO, a film club that celebrates the world of cinema.
