John Simkiss General Information
Biography
Mr. John Simkiss serves as Senior Managing Director, Harvest at Blackstone. He is serving as the Portfolio Strategist of Harvest Fund Advisors, Blackstone's publicly traded MLP and Yield-Oriented Investment Platform. Having joined Blackstone in 2017, he focuses on public market investment opportunities for Harvest. He nearly has two decades' experience in the design of complex financial models and investment strategies, having spent five years in private equity with Vivum Group LLC and over a decade in the insurance industry with The Simkiss Companies, where he managed a portfolio of high-yield debt. He has earned CLU, CPCU, AFSB, and ChFC professional designations and has held Series 6 and Series 63 NASD certifications. He received his B.A. from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
