Biography

Mr. Jonathan Keidan is the Founder & serves as Managing Partner at Torch Capital. He is also a Co-Founder and served as President and Chief Executive Officer at InsideHook. He also serves as a Board Member at Housfy. He also serves as a Board Member at Nara Organics. He has spent his career at the intersection of the media, entertainment, and technology industries. He served as a Venture Advisor to Trigger Media (digital media fund), a recently launched men's lifestyle platform that curates recommendations for established, adventurous men, is on track to become the fastest-growing digital newsletter in its space and is already recognized as a leader in innovating content curation and integration. Prior to joining Trigger Media, he worked for former General Electric CEO, Jack Welch, launching his online education venture, and at Mendeley, a UK startup that is the world's largest online research collaboration platform, where He launched their US operations. He started his career in the entertainment business, where he founded a music talent management company which he ran for 8 years. After that, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company in their Media & Entertainment practice. He is a founding board member of the Bronx Success Academy 1 elementary charter school. He is also the Co-Trustee of the George Gershwin Family Trust, where he oversees the management of the Gershwin musical properties, and is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He serves as a Board Member at Sollis Health. He is also an Angel Investor. He has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Washington University in St. Louis where he graduated Cum Laude.
