Yoav Roth General Information

Biography

Mr. Yoav Roth is a Co-Founder and serves as Senior Managing Director, Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Hudson Bay Capital Management. He began his career at UBS in 1999 as a research analyst on the convertibles desk, performing derivative modeling and credit analysis. In 2001, Mr. Roth joined Gerber Asset Management, where he invested across all parts of the capital structure. In 2005 Mr. Roth co-founded Hudson Bay. He has developed investment strategies in program trading, convertible securities and mergers and acquisitions, special situations and directly negotiated investments utilizing equities, convertible securities, debt instruments, warrants and other structured investments. Mr. Roth leads a team responsible for negotiating directly with public companies in order to provide them with capital through both equity and debt investment. His team also has a unique expertise in monetizing patents utilizing the capital markets. Mr. Roth graduated cum laude from Union College with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics.
