Biography

Mr. Louis Sheinker serves as President, Chief Operating Officer, Secretary and Director at GTJ REIT. He brings nearly 27 years of real estate experience to the Company. Prior to joining the Company, he was a co-founding partner in Lighthouse Real Estate Ventures. He has participated in the restructuring and repositioning of more than 4 million square feet of office space and industrial properties. Prior to founding Lighthouse, he was the President of Sheinker Wasserstein Realty Services, Inc., which performed management and asset management services on behalf of financial institutions throughout the New York metropolitan area. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College, and is currently a licensed Real Estate Broker in New York State.
