Biography

Mr. Hideki Fujita served as Operating Partner at TransLink Capital. He has over 25 years of information technology and business application software experience including extensive business knowledge in the telecommunications industry (in-depth knowledge of OSS) and financial services (in-depth knowledge of payments). Previously, Hideki successfully ran the Japanese operations of several venture-backed companies with roles as both Japan country manager and technology leader including Everypath, Kabira Technologies, and ACI Worldwide. Hideki started his career as a software engineer and has project experience on various live operation environments including IBM/Hitachi/Fujitsu mainframe, VAX/VMS, UNIX, Windows Server environments as well as relational modeling, object oriented modeling, Java environment, and distributed environment. Hideki has led large scale IT software development consulting projects, managing over 2000 developers, for telco and financial clients and deep domain knowledge on managing such projects, leveraging Project Management, Process Management and CMMI methodologies. Hideki studied at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan.
