Alan Winters General Information

Biography

Mr. Alan Winters serves as Limited Partner Advisors at Nyca Partners. He is the founder of his own executive coaching company, Alan Winters Coaching. Before that, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Principal of Kingdon Capital Management, LLC. In his 25-year association with the firm, he also worked as an Analyst, Portfolio Manager, and as Chief Investment Officer. During an extended sabbatical from 1997-2002, he moved to Paris with his family and, upon his return, taught fifth grade for two years in a Bronx public school. He is co-chairman of the Board of University Settlement, a board member of The Door, and a member of Solelim, a venture philanthropy fund. He received a BS in Finance from Lehigh University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton).
