Biography

Mr. John Olsen serves as a President and Chief Executive Officer at Delta Education Systems. He previously served as Executive Vice President, Operations at K12 Incorporated, supporting K12's growth and rise to become the largest operator of public charter schools in the United States. He also led K12's Institutional Business, serving more than 2,000 school districts and was the President of Capital Education LLC, K12's subsidiary serving non-profit Higher Education institutions. Prior to joining K12, he was Vice President of Performance Improvement at America Online and he previously served as a management consultant at Diamond Technology Partners. John began his career as a Navy Supply Officer, performing activities ranging from aviation logistics to major weapons systems acquisition as well as serving as a White House Military Social Aide during the Clinton Administration. John graduated from the United States Naval Academy and holds a MBA from the University of Michigan. He is a former trustee of Sierra Nevada College and currently serves as a Trustee of the Naval Academy Foundation.
