Julio Obeso General Information

Biography

Mr. Julio Obeso served as Portfolio Manager, Emerging Market at BMO Asset Management (Holdings). Julio is a Portfolio Manager in the Emerging Market Debt team. He joined the company in 2015. He started his career in 1999 in the Latin American and Caribbean region team of Charles Schwab & Co. In 2005, he joined MacKay Shields LLC, a subsidiary of New York Life Investment Management, as an emerging markets credit analyst within the global fixed income group. Julio has also worked at H2O Asset Management, a global macro portfolio, focusing on emerging market credit opportunities. He holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
