Biography

Mr. Thomas Preuss serves as a Managing Partner at DTCP Growth. He serves as Chairman of the Board at Incharge Capital Partners He also serves as a Board Observer at Aircall. He is responsible for setting investment direction, establishing and refining the investment processes, making investment recommendations, and managing the performance of the overall portfolio. He invested in / serves as a Board member/observer on behalf of DTCP at: Cognigy.AI, Neo4j, Aircall, Signavio (acquired by SAP SE), Pipedrive (acquired by Vista Private Equity), Relayr (acquired by Munich RE), Fornova, eValue, and enfore. Previously, He was the Founder and Managing Partner of Bauer Venture Partners, a €100mventure capital fund. Before, he was the Head of M&A at Bauer Media and a long-term Managing Partner at German venture capital pioneer Neuhaus Partners. He invested in Searchmetrics, Content Fleet (acquired by Stroer Digital), Propertybase (acquired by Boston Logic Inc.), Contortion (acquired by Hoffmann SE), Navabi, and Apprupt (acquired by Opera Mediaworks), amongst others, and has gained broad entrepreneurial experiences from the foundation of several companies. He studied at the University of Hamburg and holds a master's degree in technical economics.
