Biography

Mr. Jeffrey Cohen serves as Partner Managing Director at Southpaw Asset Management. He has been with Southpaw Asset Management LP since its inception. Prior to joining Southpaw, Mr. Cohen worked as a Vice President and Analyst in the Credit Opportunity/Distressed Securities department at Ramius Capital, LLC. Before working at Ramius, Mr. Cohen was the Vice President of Business Development at Stockback, LLC, a venture capital funded financial services company. Mr. Cohen began his professional career as a bankruptcy attorney in private practice for six years and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Bruce I. Fox of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Cohen received a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University and a J.D. from Temple University Law School.
