Biography

Mr. Lanier Bivings serves as Chief Financial Officer at Encompass Supply Chain Solutions. He is responsible for all financial, accounting and general administrative functions for Encompass, including the Accounting Department, financial analysis and planning / budgeting, Human Resources and Risk Management. Mr. Bivings brings more than 20 years of experience in finance to Encompass, and has a strong background in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Prior to Encompass, Mr. Bivings served as CFO for Elite Storage Solutions, Inc., a manufacturer of material handling equipment, where he was responsible for integration and consolidation of the accounting and operations groups of two acquired businesses; development and implementation of a consolidated ERP system; and implementation of operating processes. Prior to Elite Storage, Lanier was an investment consultant, and also served as CFO for ShowTurf, Inc., a distributor of John Deere golf and turf equipment. Previous to ShowTurf he served as Corporate Accounting Manager and then Global Business Manager for Jabil Circuit, a contract manufacturer of various computer peripherals, automotive and medical equipment. During his tenure at Jabil, customer satisfaction ratings in his business unit increased, resulting in selection as supplier of the year by Cisco Systems, and his business unit grew from $40 million to $120 million in annual revenue. Prior to Jabil, Lanier was a CPA with Ernst & Young LLP. Lanier earned Bachelor's degrees in both Finance and Multinational Business from Florida State University and held Florida CPA certification.
