Biography

Mr. Ramki Sankaranarayanan is the Founder and serves as President and Global Chief Executive Officer at Prime Focus Technologies. Mr. Sankaranarayanan also serves as Managing Director and Board Member at Prime Focus. He has 18 years of IT industry experience. Prior to starting PFT in 2007, he was CEO of Subex Technologies and before that, Global Head of Sales and Marketing for Product R&D Services at Tata Elxsi. He is an engineering graduate from BITS Pilani and an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, India. He has over 18 years of rich experience in technology, strategy, customer service, sales and marketing in the IT industry. He comes with deep expertise in the deployment of technology within the Media & Entertainment sector. Prior to Prime Focus, he was the CEO of Subex Technologies, an IT Services player in the Telecom Industry. And before Subex, he was head of worldwide sales and marketing for Product R&D Services at Tata Elxsi. He also set up the operations of Tata Elxsi in the US and grew it into a multi-million dollar business. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from B.I.T.S Pilani and an MBA degree from S. P Jain Institute of Management & Research. He was appointed CEO of Prime Focus Limited in April 2011 and Managing Director in October 2011. In November 2012 he stepped down as Managing Director; in June 2014 he stepped down as CEO and became Managing Director for the second time.
