Biography

Mr. Malik Jalal served as Managing Director at The Abraaj Group. Ahmad Jalal has over thirteen years of private equity, investment banking, operational and financial management experience in Europe and the Middle East. He joined The Abraaj Group in 2011 as a member of the investment management team and has been involved in origination, evaluation, negotiation, structuring and execution of transactions in the Middle East, Pakistan and within the Healthcare sector. Prior to joining The Abraaj Group, Mr Jalal was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs where he was primarily involved in financial restructuring and structuring investments for the Investment Banking Division and the Principal Investments Area. He started his career with Deloitte in London within Assurance and Business Advisory and was later Manager in the Private Equity Transaction Services team.
