Biography

Mr. Amr Helal served as Chief Executive Officer, North Africa at Renaissance Financial Holdings. He served as Chief Executive Officer Sell-Side Investment Bank at CI Capital Holding Company. He has been with the Firm since October 2017 as an independent non-executive director in Cairo. In the capacity of Chief Executive Officer, Amr leads the Firm's franchise in North Africa and oversees the Company's strategy and senior client coverage in the region. He also served as Head of Private Equity at CI Capital Holding Company. Mr. Helal serves as Managing Director at The Abraaj Group. He has more than ten years of experience in investment banking. Before joining The Abraaj Group, Mr. Helal was a Senior Executive in investment banking at EFG-Hermes, where he led the initial public offering of Talaat Mustafa Group, Etisalat's purchase of a mobile-phone license in Saudi Arabia and the sale of Al-Ahram Beverages to Heineken International.
