He has been with Abraaj for over four years helping build the real estate business, including the deployment of ASAS. Before joining Abraaj, Mr. Neilan was an Associate Director in London within the UK Principal Real Estate Finance team at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he was responsible for the origination, execution, and portfolio management of UK real estate investments and loans. He started his career with Allen & Overy in London and Singapore, where he trained and practiced as a transactional lawyer.
