Biography

Mr. Scott Hausman served as Executive Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development at Axway. He was responsible for complementing company organic growth through acquisitions. He developed and executed the acquisition strategy to continue to expand the Axway position all over the world. Through his efforts, he ensured the company leverages the combined strengths of its organic and acquired technologies, as recently with Vordel acquisition in API technology. Since 2003 at Axway, he was instrumental in developing operations that allowed the company to successfully expand in the U.S. market. This included key wins with large supply chain and financial customers. He also played an integral role in the acquisition of Cyclone Commerce and Tumbleweed Communications, and later championed the spin-off of Axway from the parent company Sopra Group. Prior to Axway, He held roles leading client engagements with Accenture's strategic services practice and as executive vice president of international operations and corporate development with Viewlocity. He has deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions and new business partnerships. His ability to manage many projects and operations internationally contributes to Axway's successful software business model. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
