Biography

Mr. John Freund is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer, President & Board Member at Jump Technologies. He joined the company in 1998 and envisioned a broader market application for its products. Working with his team, he transformed the company from a consumer-focused technology company to a company with a product family relied upon by 10,000 users. Under his leadership, Jump Technologies has also formed several significant strategic partnerships with such entities as a $100 billion distributor in the healthcare industry and two major wholesalers in the office supply market, which has led to distribution with over 200 dealers. He has more than 25 years of IT experience, primarily helping start-up companies introduce new technologies to the market. He Co-Founded ShowCase Corporation, which provided business intelligence and data warehousing tools. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, he helped grow the company to over $40 million in sales. ShowCase went public in 1999 with a market cap of $90 million and was later acquired by SPSS (now part of IBM). He holds BS (Bachelor of Science) degree in business administration and a minor in computer science from Winona State University in Minnesota. He was named Distinguished Young Alumni in 2008. He remains connected to his alma mater as founder and chairman of Stage One Group. This organization connects Winona students with business mentors to help entrepreneurs launch companies.
