Biography

Ms. Jenna Kerwood served as Partner, Tax Services at Brown Smith Wallace. With 20 years of experience, she has worked in all aspects of property tax, including valuation, negotiation, research, planning, compliance and administration. Jenna's specialty is managing large outsourced engagements for clients within the telecommunications, retail and manufacturing industries. Jenna has ten years of Big Four experience, beginning at Arthur Andersen and transitioning to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Prior to joining Andersen, Jenna was a Property Tax Manager at Premcor, a multi-million dollar oil and gas retailer and refiner. She also has 10 years of experience working as an assessor in Texas. Having graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia, Jenna obtained her Registered Professional Appraiser (RPA) and Certified Tax Administrator (CTA) designations while working in Texas. She has completed valuation courses from IAAO and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. Jenna is a Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (CMI) as well as a member of the Broadband Tax Institute and licensed as a Senior Property Tax Consultant in the state of Texas.
