Biography

Mr. Mike Griffus served as an Operating Partner at Huron Capital Partners. He serves as President and CEO of Tectrans, a former Huron portfolio company now owned by Keolis America. He previously served an Advisor at Agri-Carriers Group. He is a 25-year veteran of the transit management and transportation industry with extensive experience in vehicle operations for school bus, transit and paratransit service nationwide. He is well known in the transit industry, having been responsible for more than 100 client contracts in his former role as President and COO of Veolia Transportation, North America. As the SVP of the Western Region for Laidlaw from 1990 to 2005, Mr. Griffus helped grow the school bus division at Laidlaw to 120 locations and approximately 10,000 buses. He also spent nine years in local and over-the-road trucking operations with Leaseway Transportation. Mr. Griffus is an active member of all major trade associations, including APTA, CTAA, and several state and regional associations, and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
