Biography

Dr. Anders Ballestad is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at MTT Innovation. He served as Board Member at Apera AI. He has three years of experience in medical imaging and technology development from the BC Cancer Research Centre where he worked on confocal microscopy and experimental high-resolution imaging modalities. He has since researched and developed algorithms around tone- and gamut-mapping, color appearance models, the human visual system perception and HDR displays while with Dolby Canada (2008-2011). Since 2012, he has led MTT's efforts to bring high-dynamic range projection to market with strategic partners. He has a PhD in Physics and a Master's in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia.
