Biography

Mr. Bolaji Lawal served as Director at Accordion Partners. He serves as Board Member at Africa Finance. He formerly served as Vice President. Most recently, Bolaji was a Vice President at Moelis & Company, where he advised clients on over $60 billion in M&A transactions across a range of industries including the aerospace & defense, financial institutions, media, healthcare and consumer sectors. Notable transactions Bolaji executed include The Student Loan Corporation's sale to Discover, Sallie Mae and Citi; Transatlantic Holding's combination with Alleghany Corporation and Van Houtte's sale to Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. Bolaji was formerly an Investment Banking Associate at Barclays Capital and previously a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led teams on engagements in multiple industries for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that, he was a Project Engineer and an Industrial Engineer with the Kroger Company and Lowe's Companies respectively, where he worked on an array of capital expenditure appropriation and process improvement projects. Bolaji holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, an M.S. in Engineering Management from the George Washington University, and an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Wharton merit scholar and a Robert Toigo Foundation fellow.
