Biography

Mr. Chowfla served as Executive Vice President at Mahindra Comviva. Prior to joining Comviva, Mr. Chowfla was a Partner and Managing Director in Timeline Ventures, a VC firm investing in early stage technology companies. As the lead investor and director of a number of enterprise software and wireless companies, he played a key part in providing strategic direction, delivering profitability and growing revenues. He was VP and GM of HP's Inkjet Media Division in San Diego California, which he grew to a US$300 million business within a 4-year period. Prior to this, he held a number of senior roles at HP, including managing HP's printer and mass storage business for Asia Pacific, global marketing for the Asia Peripherals Division, channel management for the European printer division in Stuttgart, and sales management for the Middle East. He graduated with honors in Economics from St. Stephens College, Delhi University and gained an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies at Delhi University.
