Biography

Mr. Michael Joslin serves as Partner at 1842 Fund. He serves as Director at High Alpha Innovation. Previously, he served as Senior Director, Customer Experience & Growth at Marriott International. He serves as Board Member at Devnaut. He is responsible for supporting and creating value for Greenspring's venture fund managers and portfolio companies via personalized introductions, events, and other services. Prior to Greenspring, he worked as a Venture Development Director at Redstar Ventures, a venture studio that creates, funds, and supports technology-enabled startups. At Redstar, he managed the company creation process including market opportunity identification, business ideation, concept development, and market testing. He also spent time consulting with Innosight, a growth and innovation management consulting firm co-founded by HBS Professor Clayton Christensen, where he helped Fortune 500 clients define transformational growth strategies, identify new growth opportunities, build best-in-class innovation capabilities, and create disruptive new products and businesses. He holds his BBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and an MBA from Harvard Business School. While at HBS, he conducted research for Clayton Christensen into disruption within the television industry.
