Biography
Mr. Takeshi Akatsu Co-Founded and served as Senior IP Advisor at Vasculead. He serves as Director, Intellectual Properties & Business Development at Quantum Biosystems. He has some ten years' experience in materials science as a researcher at the Max Planck Institutes of Metal Research and Microstructure Physics (Germany) and as an R&D project leader for advanced substrate development at SOITEC (France). In Japan, he worked in IP law firms. He therefore brings a profound knowledge of R&D and IP to his role as director of IP and BD at Quantum Biosystems. He was awarded a doctorate in Precision Machinery Engineering by the University of Tokyo.
