Biography

Mr. Stephan Torra serves as Managing Director, Expansion at Ardian. He served as Director, Expansion at Ardian. He served as a Partner at Cathay Capital Private Equity. He is responsible for the screening, evaluation, diligence and monitoring of Cathay Capital investments. Prior to joining Cathay Capital, he worked four years in the Principal Investments department of BNP Paribas where he focused on originating and executing minority equity, uni-tranche and mezzanine investments in Europe. Previously he was a credit analyst within Corporate Investment Banking covering blue chips in the telecom and energy sectors. Before that and out of school, He spent two years as a consultant within Capgemini Consulting focusing on performance improvement projects in the retail, industry and transport sectors. He has a Degree in French engineering school Supélec and holds a Master of Sciences from Imperial College London.
