James Grabovac General Information

Biography

Mr. James Grabovac served as Managing Director & Investment Strategist at McDonnell Investment Management. Mr. Grabovac is charged with executing tax-exempt investment strategies for the Company's client portfolios. Specifically, his responsibilities focus on sub-advised mutual fund and private client portfolio management. From 1998 to 2002, Mr. Grabovac was an independent futures trader, and from 1995 to 1998 he managed tax-exempt mutual funds at INVESCO Funds Group in Denver. Prior to that, Mr. Grabovac was employed by Stein Roe and Farnham in Chicago where he managed a high yield municipal bond fund. In addition to managing mutual funds, he has also worked extensively with insurance company clients. Mr. Grabovac received his B.A. degree in Economics from Lawrence University and his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.
