Biography

Mr. Ricardo Madureira serves as Partner & Board Member at Greenpass (Financial Software). He serves as Board Member at GlobalYeast. He served as Board Member at NexSteppe. Mr. Ricardo Madureira served as Investment Officer at P2 Brasil. He also served as Chief Executive Officer and President at Vogel telecom. He is a Partner at Promon. From 2011 to 2012 Mr. Madureira was Business Development Director and Head of Genes, a company focused on investing in power generation projects. Mr. Madureira's extensive background in management and business development spans over 15 years. Before joining Promon, Mr. Madureira was president of CanaVialis, a bio-energy company focused on sugarcane and energy crops. He led CanaVialis from its start-up to its acquisition by Monsanto. In Monsanto, he acted as the Global Strategy Director in the U.S. and as Head of South America Crop Protection Division. Prior to CanaVialis, Mr. Madureira was Operations Director at Votorantim New Businesses, the venture capital fund that first invested in the company. He also held several leadership positions at AmBev (American Beverage Company), including that of General Plant Manager. Mr. Madureira holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in brewing technology from the Sibel Institute of Technology and an MBA from FDC. He is also a graduate of the OPM Program at the Harvard Business School.
