Biography
Dr. Ravi Bhagavatula is the Founder and serves as Managing Partner at WFA Global Investments. He serves as Chairman at ArthaYantra. He utilizes his two decades of global experience in finance and leadership skills to focus on developing and mentoring innovative firms, especially in emerging markets. Before this, he was a Managing Director at UBS, after working as a Managing Director at AIG, particularly in various senior roles for over a decade. During his long productive career in the global capital markets, he worked with Sun Life and Morgan Stanley. He has an undergraduate degree from IIT-Kanpur and holds a Ph.D. in Statistical Physics, and entered the financial industry following his post-doctoral exposure to Computational Finance at Carnegie Mellon University. He also has the distinction of being an alumnus of the Wharton School and is a CFA charter holder.
