Biography

Mr. Kyohei Hosono serves as Director & Executive Vice President at Dream Incubator. Since June 2010, he has worked at DI Vietnam, where he conducts investment and consulting for unlisted Vietnamese companies (using the DI Asian Industrial Fund [5 billion yen]) and supports Japanese companies looking to expand into Vietnam. For DI as a whole, he has provided support in a wide variety of areas, such as international (Asia) development strategies, sales/marketing reform, new business strategies, and M&A (DD, strategic planning, implementation support) for clients in the consumer goods (miscellaneous daily goods, etc.), retail, entertainment, and healthcare (pharmaceutical drugs) industries. Prior to joining DI, he worked for the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, dealing in developmental aid for former Soviet republics (Uzbekistan, etc.), debt rescheduling negotiations for developing countries (Paris Club), and ODA reform. He holds a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Letters, The University of Tokyo. He also studied at St. Petersburg State University (Russia) and obtained an advanced degree from the University of Michigan (US) School of Public Policy (MPA). He also served as Board Member at Santedo.
