Biography

Mr. Tomoo Yokobori serves as President, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Tyr Energy. He also serves as management member of Tyr's investment subsidiaries and affiliates. Prior to the current position, Mr. Yokobori served as the Chairman of the Board of the Company. Prior to joining the Company, he has been closely involved with the company's business from various roles including as Manager at ITOCHU Corporation in Tokyo and Director at ITOCHU International Inc., New York. While at ITOCHU Corporation, Mr. Yokobori was in charge of the non-regulated power generation business of the Americas, Oceania and Japan; at ITOCHU International, he was responsible for M&A in renewable projects and service companies since 2001. He received his BA in Economics at Peking University in China and also completed the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, Fontainebleau in France and the Investment Banking Program at NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
