Biography

Mr. Michael Rakiter serves as Principal, Discovery at Trivest Partners. Mr. Rakiter served as Partner at Delos Capital. He served as Board Member at Edgard Construction Materials. Before joining Delos, he was a member of Rothschild's New York-based Restructuring Group, where he advised debtors, creditors and private equity sponsors on a variety of restructuring transactions. Previously, he worked at Cerberus Capital Management, where he focused on middle and large-market private equity, distressed and special situation opportunities, with a focus on technology, business services and consumer sectors. He also worked at Syncora Guarantee, a bond insurer, where he focused on the restructuring of distressed credits and capital planning. He started his career in the Restructuring Group of Rothschild. He has a BBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and graduated with honors. He also represented Delos on the Board of Directors of United Flea Markets.
