Biography
Mr. John Hutchins served as Partner at LeClairRyan. Mr. Hutchins' practice is a combination of commercial litigation and trial work, compliance advice and counseling, and technology transactions. His near quarter-century of litigation experience runs the gamut in subject matter, from data breaches, to eminent domain, to vintage race cars, to death penalty habeas corpus, but he has particular experience in matters involving intellectual property, privacy, and data security, information technology, government procurement, restrictive covenants and breach of fiduciary duty. As lead counsel, he has tried numerous cases to jury verdict, as well as bench trials, arbitrations and other evidentiary hearings in state and federal courts.
